Saints and Geography Portal
This domain contains interactive databases and spreadsheets pertaining to the churches and veneration of saints.
At present, a database Saints and Geography containing data
pertaining to the development of the cult of saints in selected
European dioceses can be accessed
here.
As of July 2011, the
contents of the database are limited to the northern diocese of
Iceland (Hólar) in the Middle Ages.
Material from Skálholt,
and from the diocese of
Bath and Wells, England, will be added in the coming year.
A site Christian Placenames in Iceland is under preparation.
